Excitement is building among fans as they prepare to step into the first-person perspective of Pandora. Ubisoft and its developers, Massive Entertainment, have shared the news that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has achieved gold status, reaching a significant milestone ahead of its eagerly awaited release.

Frontiers of Pandora is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game based on James Cameron’s best-selling Avatar movie series. Players take on the role of a Na’vi character that has been made specifically for the game. Ubisoft opted to develop the game with a first-person perspective to give players a far more immersive experience when exploring the world of Pandora.
The upcoming game will be set in the “never-before-seen” continent of Pandora called the Western Frontier. Frontiers of Pandora features item customizations, upgradable skills, and personal mounts to help traverse the open world. The game lets players use traditional Na’vi weapons like the bow and spear or human weapons like assault rifles, shotguns, and rocket launchers.
Ubisoft also teased a season pass for Avatar which adds post-launch content including new storylines and gameplay experiences. The paid bundle adds two story packs, a bonus quest, the Resistance Equipment pack which features an exclusive gearset and weapons, and a cosmetic set for mounts. The first story pack comes out in the Summer of 2024 while the second arrives in Fall 2024.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is now available for pre-order from the Ubisoft Store. Pre-purchasing adds the Child of Two Worlds gear set as a bonus. Players on the PS5 will also receive the Aranahe Warrior Pack as well.
Fans on the Games subreddit are looking forward to the upcoming game’s co-op mode where two players can explore and progress together. Exploring the continent of West Frontier should be much more enjoyable with a friend. We are particularly excited to see if the game lives up to the visuals of the movie.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on December 7.
