Assetto Corsa 2’s release window revealed

The franchise is one of Digital Bros.'s most prized properties. It has sold over 28 million copies and grossed over €104 million euros across its lifetime, according to the recent financial statement.

Speaking about the franchise, the Digital Bros. report stated:

Assetto Corsa faithfully recreates the performance and the driving experience of real cars, replicating tyre grip, aerodynamic impact, engine parameters as well as different weather conditions. Nearly one hundred cars are available to choose from, reproduced in collaboration with the most prestigious automotive manufacturers, and that can be driven on legendary circuits including Silverstone, Monza, Nürburgring-Nordschleife, Barcelona, Brands Hatch, Spa Francorchamps.

Apart from its potential window, not much information is available about the racing simulator game other than it will use a new, in-house engine, much like the first game. Although the gaming community is currently referring to the upcoming title as Assetto Corsa 2, neither Digital Bros. nor Kunos Simulazioni has announced an official title for it. However, as the title's release date draws nearer, we expect more information to surface.
