Ubisoft keeps popping up in the news quite often these days, largely due to the Assassin's Creed franchise - also known as the only thing keeping them afloat. Now that fans of the series have sampled the latest installment, Assassin's Creed Mirage, all eyes are set on the next title, which appears to be Assassin's Creed Red.
Word on the street, courtesy of a little birdie known as @BunnyTheVillain, is that the much-anticipated world premiere trailer of Assassin's Creed Red will land as early as May. Even better, the content creator teased that Ubisoft is planning a gameplay showcase during a Ubi Forward event two months later, in July.
Hold up; we're not done yet. BunnyTheVillain, who's apparently a Ubisoft partner, narrowed down the expected release of Assassin's Creed Red to November 2024, with a brave declaration that it will be "the most enjoyable game in the franchise." Needless to say, that's a bold assertion for a franchise filled with gems like Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Ubisoft's ambitious goal to keep the Assassin's Creed series fresh every year took solid form last year with the announcement of Assassin's Creed Red. Since then, rumors have been swirling, and we've been on the edge of our seats, speculating about a release sooner rather than later.
