Yesterday, a League of Legends fan account revealed that Arcane's second season is slated for a Q4 2024 release. Based on the information on the page, Tencent, the Chinese company that owns Riot Games, revealed the date during its recent Video V Vision Conference in China.

The account wrote, "It has been revealed at the 2024 Tencent Video V Vision Conference that ARCANE Season 2 will premiere in Q4 (Winter) 2024."

If this is true, Arcane Season 2 will arrive on Netflix anywhere from October to December - next year.

If we were to make a call, we would say that the series will arrive in late October because of two reasons: the first season premiered on Netflix on November 6, 2021 and the game that inspired the project, League of Legends, was originally released in late October 2009 with its 15th anniversary coming up around the same period.

Over the years, Netflix has shown it has a knack for adapting video games to animated TV shows from DOTA: Dragon's Blood and The Dragon Prince to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Castlevania.

Arcane is another of Netflix's successful adaptations. When the series arrived on the platform in 2021, it was well-received by critics and had a 100% Rotten Tomatoes critics' approval rating. It went on to win several awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Best Animated Program. Some critics even go as far as to call it one of the best video game adaptations ever.
