Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming feature film just found a new home. Apple Studios will now back and distribute Bad Blood. The movie will follow the rise and fall of Theranos founder, Elizabeth Holmes. It will reportedly be based on Wall Street Journal reporter's book, John Carreyrou, which is titled "Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup."

confirmed the news about Apple backing Bad Blood. Legendary Pictures will also co-produce with Adam McKay tabbed to write and direct. McKay will also co-produce Bad Blood under his Hyperobject Industries banner as part of his extensive multi-year deal with Apple. Other producers include Lawrence and Justine Polsky under Excellent Cadaver, with Will Ferrell also producing through Gary Sanchez Productions. Interestingly enough, Ferrell is still producing after the fallout between Farrell and McKay.
