Princess Diaries is one of the most memorable films from Anne Hathaway. The movie was a surprise box office success and it catapulted the actor to stardom. It's part of every teen's to-watch list, especially for those who grew up in the early 2000s.

Princess Diaries went on to have a sequel that didn't quite impress the critics. It did however replicate the box office success of the previous film.

During a recent interview with ET to promote her upcoming movie Armageddon Time, Hathaway raved about the possibility of doing a third installment for Princess Diaries. The actor mentioned her excitement to once again work with the "magnificent" Julie Andrews.

"I would more than entertain it, I'm pulling for it," Hathaway raves. "If there's any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work. We would go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen," she adds.

Hathaway was only 18 when she debuted as Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, who is Princess of Genovia in the 2001 film. It's based on the novel of the same name written by Meg Cabot. Julie Andrews plays the role of Mia's grandmother and the reigning queen of Genovia.
