Amy Adams has four acting credits as Lois Lane to her name, as part of the DC Extended Universe, after joining the struggling cinematic universe in 2013 in Man of Steel. In case Warner Bros. Discovery comes calling, Adams has confirmed she is open to a fifth.

Adams recently revealed to Variety, during the premiere of Disenchanted, that she's open to returning as Lois Lane, saying: They [DC] haven't spoken to me about it. If it's me, great. If it's somebody else, the role of Lois has been filled by so many wonderful actresses in the past, so I'll support whatever direction they go. At least eight different actresses have played the role of Lois Lane throughout the years, but Adams is the only one to have had a chance to portray the love of Superman's life multiple times in recent years. The only ones with multiple credits as Lois Lane on the big screen is Margaret Ruth Kidder and Noel Neill.

Although the DCU's new heads could technically bring in a new face, fans would love to see Adams back as Henry Cavill's on-screen pattern.
