It's crazy to think that Among Us didn't used to be a popular game. Even though the popular social deduction title was released back in 2018, it wasn't until the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020 that Among Us really started hitting it off, or so to speak.
From a relatively obscure game, Among Us became a worldwide sensation, seemingly, overnight. It's as if everyone who had a PC and a mobile device were playing the game. However, despite Among Us' popularity, there was one thing sorely missing: a console version.
While a Nintendo Switch version of Among Us was later released, PlayStation and Xbox versions are still nowhere to be found.
Now, it's probably only a matter of weeks before Among Us' console versions release. Potential Among Us PS4 and PS5 Release Date It was only in March earlier this 2021 that Among Us' developers, Innersloth, confirmed that the game will be arriving on the Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One sometime later in the year. Fast forward to a month later and InnerSloth also announced that Among Us was coming to the PS4 and PS5 as well. Not only that but to mark its launch, the PS4 and PS5 version of Among Us will get exclusive Ratchet & Clank content.
It's been a couple of months since both announcements were made. So far, InnerSloth hasn't come out to confirm an exact release date yet. But, because of the recent database leaks, we now know that Among Us might release on the PS4 and PS5 soon.
