All Unknown Signal & Radio Signal Amplifier Locations On Outbreak (All Regions)

In Outbreak, there are unique base radios that spawn randomly in fixed locations across all the regions. The spawn order is random, and the rate of spawn is very rare.

When you interact with the base radio, it spawns several zombies that you must eliminate in order for the base radio to emit a unique signal with a distinct sound. This signal is weak.

You must then find three signal amplifiers close to the base radio by interacting with them and matching the amplifier sound with the base radio signal. The base radio distinct sound library is a fixed set of signals, but you always get random sounds for each radio.

When you are near the amplifiers, you will hear a static sound effect. The static sound gets louder as you get closer to the amplifiers.

Once you match all three radio frequencies, you can return to the base radio and interact with it to listen to the full radio signal that spawns a lot of essence (points) and a unique classic song cassette from one of the old Call of Duty: Black Ops games.

There are a total of five songs you can get and they are as follows:

Note that these song cassettes can spawn multiple times. This means you can get duplicates when interacting with the radios. You can access these songs using the Music Player feature in Black Ops Cold War.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that there is no minimum round for the radios to spawn. The radios can spawn at any difficulty level, whether it is difficulty level 1 or above. If you do not see the radio in any of the listed locations below, don't be discouraged. Continue progressing through the difficulty levels, and you will eventually find one. We had to skip 6 difficulty levels in one game to finally find one.

Another tip we have is simply checking for the locations in whatever region you spawn in and if you don't see radio in any one of the listed locations, restart the game.

The radio icon is not visible on the map until you are close enough.

The amplifier locations are not shown on the map even if you are close to them. This is where you use the static sound effect to find the amplifiers. Luckily for you, we've done the research. In this guide, we show you the locations of all the radios and the amplifiers in all the regions.

There are three possible radio locations found in the Alpine region.

The first base radio is found at the Fire Aid Station. The radio is on a ledge on a small cliff leading up to the warehouse.

The first radio signal amplifier is inside the cabin, right in front of the base radio. It is the first cabin from the right side.

The second radio signal is by the main road north of the Fire Aid Station. The amplifier is behind stacked concrete blocks by the generator.

The final amplifier is inside the medevac warehouse on top of wooden crates.

The second base radio spawns by the fireplace at the hillside cabins.

The amplifier is at the patio of one of the smaller cabins located at the hillside cabin. It is the first cabin from the right side. Go around the back of the cabin, and you will find it on the table.

The second amplifier is inside one of the bigger cabins. You will find it inside the left side cabin on the first floor right after you've reached the top.

The third amplifier is found slightly west of the hillside cabins in a small shack.

The third base radio is found by the Frozen Lake at the Base Cabins.

The first amplifier is inside the hut just behind the frozen lake.

The second amplifier is found inside the second cabin from the left (out of the four cabins located next to the lake).

The final amplifier is found inside the northernmost small hut by the frozen lake.

There are two radios in the Ruka region.

The first radio can be found at Creek Dacha on a wooden box outside the main cabin.

The first amplifier is in the small hut in front of the base radio.

The second amplifier is found inside the lumber storage warehouse.

The third amplifier is found inside a small western cabin in Creek Dacha.

The second base radio is found in the central part of the Ruka region at the Officers' Quarters. The radio is on a blue barrel next to a green container.

The first amplifier is on the back of a truck parked in between the houses in the Barracks area of the quarters.

The second amplifier is inside one of the two houses to the east of the base radio.

The third amplifier is just at the border of the obstacle course. The radio is on the ground outside the course by the main road.

There are two known possible radio spawns in Golova.

The first base radio can be found on the desk inside the administration office at the Granary.

The first amplifier is just outside the administration office behind the large tanks by the wooden planks.

The second amplifier is in between the silos at the Granary.

The third amplifier is inside the long storage room at the Granary. The amplifier is on the ground by the shelf.

The second base radio is found on a table in the lower west town of Golova.

The first amplifier is found on the balcony of the blue house located next to the base radio.

The second amplifier is found by the open shed just west of the base radio. The signal amplifier is on the ground by some fruits and vegetable baskets.

The third amplifier is found on the roof of the building that houses an ammo cache and the arsenal (armor stand). You can jump up on the roof via the elevations located in front of the house.

There are two radios found in the Sanatorium region.

The first radio is at the Vacation Homes located at the southeastern border of the map. The radio is inside the central house of the Vacation Homes. The radio is on the ground inside the first room to the right when you go upstairs.

The first amplifier is inside a small shed behind the same house.

The second amplifier can be found on the patio of the western Vacation Homes house. It will be on the bench around the back of the house.

The third amplifier is in the southeastern Vacation Home on the dinner table inside the kitchen area.

The second base radio is found on the roof of the administration building.

The first amplifier is found on the balcony of the Sanatorium building. The balcony is accessed via the Sanatorium roof.

The second amplifier is found north of the administration building.

The third and final amplifier is found on the bench at the pier.

There are two known radio locations in the Duga region.

The first radio can spawn at the Bus Depot located near the southern edge of the Duga region.

The first amplifier is located at the eastern end of the sitting area of the Bus Depot on the stone wall.

The second amplifier is directly in front of the main Bus Depot building. The amplifier is on the ground next to the bus stand or waiting area.

The last amplifier is located west of the Bus Depot on the stone sign by the road.

The second radio can spawn at the Secure Communications area. The radio is found on top of the container resting on some wooden crates.

The first amplifier is found on the floor at the nearby bus stand.

The second amplifier is located inside one of the cabins at Secure Communications. The amplifier is on the desk.

The third amplifier is located a bit far to the west of the Secure Communications area. The amplifier is on the ground next to some generators.

Note that the actual radio and amplifier locations are circled in red as we couldn't get them to spawn due to the RNG nature of the spawns. But, the locations are correct.

The base radio is found inside the chemical processing building located in the northern part of the Duka region. It'll be on a container on the second floor.

The first amplifier is found by a stack of some metal pipes right outside the chemical processing building.

The second amplifier is found on top of the middle tank, which is located to the southernmost area of the chemical processing plant (not the southernmost part of the region).

Finally, the last amplifier is found by the bridge located in the western section of the plant. The amplifier will be on the ground next to the fence and some blue barrels.

The base radio is found in the middle attraction surrounded by the Cottages in the northeastern section of the region.

The first amplifier is located inside the cottage located to the right of the base radio.

It'll be in the kitchen area on the ground in the corner.

The second amplifier is in the backyard of the northern cottage.

It'll be on the ground, resting by a small shack and a stack of wood logs.

The third amplifier is inside the southern cottage right in front of the base radio.

The amplifier will be inside the main bedroom on the second floor. It'll be next to the wardrobe.

The base radio is found in the middle of the Industrial Complex at the base of the statue.

The first amplifier is in the southern building of the Industrial Complex. It'll be on the sink inside the building.

The second amplifier is on the roof of the blue northern warehouse building of the Industrial Complex. A set of ladders at the back of the building takes you directly up to the roof.

The third and final amplifier is located at the Industrial Complex Parking area to the east of the complex.

The third base radio is found on top of a small building located at the Zoo Facilities in the southeastern part of the region.

The first amplifier is located in the Zoo Facilities' parking lot.

The second amplifier is found on the ground resting by the bordering wall south of the base radio.

The last amplifier is inside the main building but on the basement floor.

The radio amplifier is inside the room located underground.

The base radio is found in the Narrows.

The first amplifier is found directly to the north of the base radio in the Oasis. There will be a small destroyed building where you will find the amplifier.

The second amplifier can be found in the Wadi, located northwest of the base radio.

The third amplifier can be found on top of the containers in the main industrial part of the region. You need to use the containers adjacent to the one having the amplifier to climb on it. Or, you can jump on the container using the cliff to the north.

The base radio is found on a container in the Solar Panels area near the eastern section of the region.

The first amplifier is in the Ruins directly in front of the base radio.

The second amplifier is resting on top of a small building in the Roadside section.

The last amplifier is on a building west of the base radio.

The base radio is found on a Patrol Boat.

The first amplifier is on the Sinking Ship directly west of the Patrol Boat.

The second amplifier is on a Submarine in the middle of the Central Ship. The amplifier is next to some crates in a net cover.

The last amplifier is on a Capsized ship at the far east section of the region.

The base radio is found on the Upper Deck of the central ship.

The first amplifier can be found at the Lower Deck of the central ship.

The second amplifier can be found on a Capsized ship west of the central ship.

The third amplifier is on a Gun Boat north of the central ship.
