Half-Life: Alyx is one of the best VR games of all time and has managed to captivate players from the world of VR and outside. Half-Life: Alyx was exclusively released on Steam in March 2020 and generated a lot of interest.

The game is compatible with all PC-compatible VR headsets, including Valve's original Valve Index, HTC, Windows Mixed Reality, and the popular Oculus Rift. Players can play the game through Steam's official SteamVR platform.

We've heard multiple rumors and talks of the PC-exclusive VR title coming to PlayStation for PSVR users, and according to the recent rumors, it might be true. Even during the game's initial release, Greg Coomer, Valve Designer, suggested in an interview with Pushsquare that the PC exclusivity of the game may not stay that way.

While Coomer confirmed that the game is not in active development for the PSVR port, Valve has "not ruled anything out." This was done to primarily focus on the game's initial release on the SteamVR platform in March 2020.

With the scheduled release of PSVR2, the question remains whether Half-Life: Alyx will release for the upgraded iteration of Sony's VR or not. Earlier this year, Nick Baker added to the rumors by claiming Sony and Valve are talking about bringing Half-Life: Alyx to PSVR2. Nick is a reliable insider who's had multiple claims proven to be correct.
