Netflix Gives Bridgerton Season 2 A Proper Release Date
Even though Season 2 hasn’t premiered yet, both Seasons 3 and 4 of Bridgerton are already confirmed.

Season 2 of Bridgerton, which is based on the novel of the same name, will follow Jonathan Bailey’s Lord Anthony Bridgerton as he looks for the love of his life. To announce the arrival of Season 2 next year, Netflix had the cast come together for an exclusive message.

Chris Van Dusen is back at the helm for Season 2 as the series follows the eldest Bridgerton sibling and Viscount in his quest for a wife. Because of his royal lineage, the search for a lifetime partner is much easier said than done. Lord Anthony has to make sure that his future wife is suitable and up to the standards set by his family name. The “search” later becomes complicated as Lord Anthony meets Kate and Edwina from India. While courting Edwina, Kate finds out Lord Anthony’s true motives and tries to keep them apart. Unfortunately, in doing so, Kate and Anthony find themselves closer than ever, complicating things for all the parties involved.

The second season was initially scheduled to arrive much earlier. Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Netflix had to reschedule production and postpone the launch. Now, with the second season coming up, fans finally have something to tide them over as they also wait for the since-confirmed third and fourth season.

As we’ve already mentioned, Netflix’s Bridgerton series is based on the best-selling novels of the same name by Julia Quinn.

It will be interesting to see how streaming audiences will receive Bridgerton’s follow-up season. If the success of the debut season is any indication, Season 2 will be just as big if not bigger. Either way, Netflix is sure to have another winner in its hands with audiences more than happy to throw subscription fees at the streaming giant.

In other Netflix news, the popular streaming platform just expanded its video game library. Meanwhile, fans are wondering if former Netflix-exclusive Marvel TV shows are coming to the MCU next, now that Daredevil’s Kingpin and titular superhero are all officially part of the interconnected cinematic universe.
