Tom Hiddleston is coming back for a second season of Loki. It looks like the God of Mischief will again be working with Mobius M. Mobius to fix Time in Season 2.
Marvel just released the first trailer for the upcoming season of Loki on Disney+. The new trailer gives fans a first glimpse at what perils the anti-hero will be facing in the new season of the wildly popular TV series.
The new teaser for Loki sees the Asgardian prince “time slipping”, jumping uncontrollably to random points in the timeline. The phenomenon is something that the Time Variance Authority members Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan) can’t explain.
Time slipping is supposedly impossible within the TVA as it exists within the sacred timeline. However, the phenomenon has been such a frequent occurrence that Mobius wants it fixed before it causes harm.
In the trailer, fans can assume that Kang the Conqueror is the reason behind the most recent time glitch. You’ll be able to spot a mural of the interdimensional warlord in the new video for Season 2.
The teaser video gives fans a first look at Quan’s character in the upcoming TV series. MCU head, Kevin Feige, extended a personal invite to join the billion-dollar cinematic universe. Ouroboros looks like he is in charge of the TVA’s technologies and is seemingly very knowledgeable about time glitches. Characters returning to the series are Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), Casey (Eugene Cordero), and Miss Minutes (Tara Strong).
The new trailer also gives fans a glimpse of Loki saying to his reality variant Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) that they are gods. It seems like Sylvie will once again have a big part in the upcoming season.

It’ll be interesting to see how the upcoming season of Loki impacts the Multiverse Saga and the upcoming Multiversal War. Jonathan Major’s Kang made his first-ever MCU appearance in Season 1 and is likely the big bad guy for the new season.
We do get a brief glimpse of a variant of Kang named Victor Timely in the trailer. While the antagonist doesn’t appear to have superpowers, he does have a genius-level intellect and possesses knowledge that is very advanced for his timeline allowing him to dominate the mechanical age. Timely is also immortal and eventually becomes Kang Prime in the comic books.
Loki Season 2 is coming to Disney+ on October 6 as part of Phase Five, and has six episodes in total.
