Invincible debuted at a time when people were starved for superhero content and it was a big hit. After its first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 2021, fans have been wondering what’s taking Amazon so long with the follow-up season. After all, Amazon renewed the show for two more seasons almost instantly after it won over audiences and critics alike. Not to mention, the actual source material is already finished. So, with the only thing left to do being to adapt the comic books, the second season of Invincible should’ve aired by now but it hasn’t. However, Amazon is teasing that the release date of Invincible Season 2 is coming soon.
Update will come sometime between Jan 2 and Jan 31!!!

In an unfortunately-all-too-very-common pre-announcement announcement, Amazon confirmed that the next Invincible update will arrive “sometime between Jan 2 and Jan 31.”
The more hopeful fans will pray that Invincible Season 2 will be out as early as February but an insider doesn’t think so. @MyTimeToShine, a name commonly associated with Marvel leaks like the recent one about the MCU’s plans for Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, says that Invincible Season 2 will be out in July.
With that said, the only thing that’s guaranteed right now is we’ll be hearing more about Invincible Season 2 in a few days or weeks. Hopefully, by then, we’ll have a release date, or even just a window, for the show’s next two seasons.

Speaking of Amazon, Amazon Studios recently landed the rights to adapt God of War. The company’s Head of Television says that the goal is to make the show a faithful adaptation of the source material.
