50 Cent doesn't back down from anybody. At least, unless you're Take-Two Interactive.
Armed with an army of lawyers, Take-Two isn't afraid to protect its properties. In this particular case, 50 Cent just might have had a cease and desist letter sent from the massive $20 billion holdings company.
After sending Grand Theft Auto fans into a tizzy by teasing his involvement in GTA 6, 50 Cent has scrubbed all proof of it online. The posts he'd made about Vice City are no longer on his Instagram account, suggesting Rockstar and Take-Two wasn't a big fan when he riled fans up. By taking it down, we know that 50 Cent could have broken an NDA.
If it's any consolation, this arguably proves two things: 50 Cent is part of a GTA project, and the next GTA game is set in Vice City.
Last year's leaks confirmed the years-long speculation about the setting of Grand Theft Auto 6. Also, based on the leaks, GTA 6 is set many years after the events of GTA: Vice City. This also means we shouldn't expect to see Tommy Vercetti, one of the best GTA protagonists of all time, in GTA 6.
