FromSoftware is riding a wave of success after their Game of the Year triumph with Elden Ring, and it appears they're set to keep the ball rolling with the upcoming Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.
While most are likely looking forward to the single-player campaign, the multiplayer mode is where the fun's at. The newest Armored Core entry will build on one of the key strengths of its predecessors by supporting up to six players, with an added feature that allows three more to spectate the action.
If you're thinking what we're thinking, then yes. Armored Core 6 will feature high-octane 3v3 multiplayer matches, mech vs mech - a surprising rarity if we're being honest.

Unfortunately, FromSoftware is staying hush-hush on the specifics. This information comes from a leak that initially went on Reddit and later found itself on various social media sites. But, with Armored Core 6 coming out on August 25, it's safe to say that we should find out more about the game sooner rather than later.
