NBA 2K11 introduced gamers to The Jordan Challenge in 2010. The innovative sports game mode lets NBA fans relive their favorite moments from the storied career of the "Greatest of all Time". For some reason, 2K Games thought that 10 games weren't enough for Michael Jordan. More than a decade later, The Jordan Challenge is back for NBA 2K23. NBA 2K23 is adding five more games to The Jordan Challenge that will help "retell Jordan's ascension from college standout to NBA legend."
The all-new Jordan Challenge will kick off with the game that solidified the path of the Chicago Bulls legend with "The National Championship Game" between the North Carolina Tar Heels against the Georgetown University Hoyas on March 29, 1982. Despite playing with future Hall of Famer, James Worthy, and against another Hall of Famer, Patrick Ewing, the 6-6 guard still stood out as he buried the game-winning shot to give his coach, Dean Smith, his first national championship.
