Following a rather blatant tease on Twitter, Infinity Ward dropped the Season 4 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone yesterday, giving the game a mid-season refresh with some shiny new content. Other than the teased new mode, there is a lot more being added to the game, such as a new operator, a new multiplayer map, a new weapon and more.
Find out what awaits in the Reloaded season.
Yesterday the official Call of Duty Twitter account posted a GIF with "200" written out in parachute emotes with the caption "we're gonna need a bigger plane", making it pretty clear they were soon going to drop a new 200 player mode for Warzone. The bigger surprise was how quick they were to release the new content afterwards. Data mining has suggested that 200 player modes were coming since the very beginning and now it has happened for the first time.
The 200-player Battle Royale mode is available for Quads, meaning 50 teams of 4 fight for survival and supremacy in Verdansk, significantly increasing player density on the unaltered map. This is the perfect mode if you prefer more chaos and shootouts over calculated games of cat and mouse. Make sure to play your fill while it's available though, because the mode will eventually be cycled out.
Another limited mode is Juggernaut Royale, where an airdrop delivers a Juggernaut pickup somewhere within the circle. Grabbing the armor and minigun gives you a massive advantage, but also makes you even more of a target - another Juggernaut drop only arrives when the active Juggernaut is eliminated.
