Sifu, an intricate brawler that turned heads when it first launched in 2022, will be free to play for PlayStation Plus subscribers in March.
The SloClap title launched as a PlayStation exclusive title on February 8, 2022. The game was later ported over to Nintendo Switch on November 8 of the same year and on Xbox just last year. It’s widely considered one of the best games in recent memory, praised for its uncompromising art style and brutal difficulty.
While Sifu‘s inclusion remains unconfirmed by Sony, it’s only a matter of time. billbil kun has yet to miss their mark with their leaks.

Sifu‘s developers haven’t confirmed its next game. Nevertheless, many fans are already looking forward to whatever they have up their sleeves following back-to-back hits in Absolver and Sifu.
Sifu‘s inclusion on PS Plus coincides with its second-year anniversary. To celebrate this, Sloclap confirmed two things: Sifu has sold three million copies and two final outfits are coming to the game.
March is usually a big month for Sony and PS Plus as it looks to wrap up its fiscal year with a bang. If Sifu‘s addition is any indication, Sony likely isn’t done yet. We might just see another PlayStation exclusive and/or a AAA title added to the service’s most basic tier to help boost the subscription numbers before FY2024 closes.
In the meantime, PS Plus subscribers can download last month’s Essential lineup, which includes Foamstars, Rollerdrome, Steelrising.
