Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for its upcoming role-playing game, One Piece Odyssey. The Japanese video game publisher also revealed that it’s launching a new demo on January 10. This free-to-play demo will feature transferrable game saves for when the full game launches just three days later.

The trailer is a three-minute-long introduction to the forthcoming title. It showcases the pirate gang Straw Hats – which includes Monkey D. Luffy, Rorona Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp, among others – as they revisit their previous adventures alongside Lim. It began with Luffy and his crew in the country of Alabasta, where they try to save the nation from a civil war that was orchestrated by Baroque Works and Crocodile. It then shows the Paramount War, where the Straw Hats attempt to stop Ace’s execution at the hands of the Marines in Marineford. Finally, the trailer panned to the pirate gang as they team up with Rebecca, Sabo, and Trafalgar Law to save Dressrosa from getting destroyed by Doflamingo.

One Piece Odyssey will feature numerous special features, including turn-based combats and Dramatic Scene. The Dramatic Scene is a mechanic that will affect every party member’s ability based on a number of factors. In the case of Sanji, the Dramatic Scene will impact the character’s ability to attack when he is surrounded by women. There is also the Bond Arts feature which imbues each member of the Screw Hats group with special moves.
