Nvidia GeForce Now Leak Still Has One Final PlayStation PC Port Prediction

Gran Turismo 7 and Demon's Souls are the only PlayStation exclusives on the leak that aren't on the PC yet.

More and more PlayStation exclusives are finding their way to the PC.

Over three years later, the infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, much to the headache of several known publishers, including PlayStation, after having to deal with the fallout that some of its bespoke titles are headed to other platforms, namely the PC.

We all know that God of War: Ragnarok will be available to play on PC starting on September 19 and just like Horizon Forbidden West earlier this year, you’d best bet that pirates will pop out of nowhere to break it open, just like how Baldur likes to barge in on Kratos before everyone’s favorite grumpy dad eventually offed him.

As the list of “leaked” titles grows thinner, it’s becoming clearer which PlayStation PC port is coming next.

From the original leak, the only two big first-party Sony exclusives missing on PC are Demon’s Souls and Gran Turismo 7.

We’d love to throw in Bloodborne into the mix just for the heck of it (and to see people react), but Sony seems intent on leaving the game alone in the meantime while FromSoftware is off busy doing other stuff.

And while it would be awesome to see Gran Turismo 7 on PC just as either one of the newest Forza games are headed to PlayStation within the next couple of months, we highly doubt it. Sony and Polyphony Digital will have to re-license everything in the game, including the cars, tracks, and music, to make a PC port happen two years after the initial rumors started floating around. This would be far too much effort for too little gain.

This now leaves us with the Demon’s Souls remake, which came out alongside the PlayStation 5 in late 2020.

Further adding fuel to the speculation is billbil-kun, who went on X to confirm that they’re “investigating about another of PlayStation’s exclusives coming very soon at least to one ‘specific’ platform.”

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will likely not be available on PC until the next season of the live-action adaptation premieres on HBO.

It’s unclear what the infamous leaker, who recently released a sketch of the PlayStation 5 Pro, is talking about here, but Sony’s release pipeline for PC ports does suggest that an exclusive is coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store. The only question now is “what” and “when” and we do have a hunch that Demon’s Souls is the answer to the “what” portion.

Sony is fresh off an up-and-down month of August after it welcomed a massive influx in sales in China following the release of Black Myth: Wukong. However, its latest first-party title, Concord, failed to break past the four-digit player count mark on Steam, drawing criticism online and ultimately resulting in its cancellation two weeks after being released.

Without a PC port for fans to look forward to for the holiday season, Sony could ride the clone-generating coat tails of Sun Wukong and give Soulslike fans on the PC a well-deserved gift.
