Lady Gaga, the global pop icon known for her music, acting, and fashion, is making a grand entrance into Fortnite. This collaboration sees her debut in Fortnite Festival later this week.
Fans and players have long awaited Gaga’s inclusion, especially since her tweet in 2019 questioning “What’s fortnight,” which went viral.
Now, Lady Gaga corrects her misspelling with an announcement that brings her into the Fortnite universe.
Fortnite Festival Season 2, titled “Unlock Your Talent,” launches on February 22 and will feature Lady Gaga as a headliner. This season is set to include eight of Gaga’s hit songs as playable Jam Tracks on a stage inspired by her 2020 album, Chromatica. The tracks include fan favorites like “Applause,” “Bloody Mary,” “Born This Way,” and “Rain On Me,” a collaboration with Ariana Grande.
Additionally, the Unlock Your Talent Festival Pass, available through April 22, introduces new instruments, Jam Tracks, and more, with a premium upgrade that features exclusive content like the Lady Gaga track “Poker Face” and the Enigmatic Gaga Outfit. This outfit is a digital recreation of Gaga’s purple bodysuit from the Chromatica Ball tour, designed by Nange Magro. Additionally, Chromatica-themed instruments and outfits, including the Chromatica Armor Outfit, will be available in the Fortnite shop.
Fortnite Festival consists of two modes: the Main Stage and the Jam Stage, offering the players a chance to either play along to tracks in a band setup or remix songs into their own mash-ups.
Gaga’s announcement follows the success of previous artists like The Weeknd, who have also headlined Fortnite Festival, demonstrating the game’s commitment to blending music with interactive entertainment.
