House Chest
Once you’ve acquired all the House Tokens, return to your common room and insert them all into the House Chest.
After inserting the 16th Token, the chest will open, rewarding you with a unique Relic House Uniform. The Uniform differed from house to house. For us, since our character was in the Ravenclaw house, we got a cloak representing Ravenclaw.
Remember to once again speak with Nellie Oggspire in the Transfiguration Courtyard of the Astronomy Wing to complete the Daedalian Keys quest.
The Relic House Uniform has a unique property where it glows whenever you cast a spell.
Common Room Locations
The House Chests are always found inside your own common rooms. Each house has a different common room location. You can always check where your common room is by checking all the main floo flame locations within Hogwarts.
Other common room floo flames can be found in the following areas:
- Slytherin Common Room – The Grand Staircase.
- Gryffindor Common Room – The South Wing.
- Hufflepuff Common Room – The Great Hall.
Frequently Asked Questions
My Hogwarts Legacy house chest won’t open.
To open the house chest in Hogwarts Legacy, you must find 16 Daedalian Keys. They’re spread all over the castle. Each key opens a cabinet with a House Token. Gather up all the tokens, drop them into the chest, and the chest will open.
My Hogwarts Legacy house chest is empty.
An empty chest means that you’ve already claimed the reward. The chest won’t refill or respawn. When you opened the chest you should have gotten a robe for transmogrification. Check your inventory if you can’t remember!
