How many episodes will Jonathan Majors have in Loki Season 2?

It seems like Marvel is being careful not to jump the gun like Disney did with Johnny Depp's false allegations.

Jonathan Majors, the man behind Kang the Conqueror, is set to return in the second season of Loki after dealing with real-life allegations.

Earlier this year, Majors was arrested on charges of assault. Since then, fans have been wondering if Marvel and Disney will hit the pause button on his character. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Majors is set to appear in “about half” of the season’s episodes. So, for those keeping score at home, that’s three out of six episodes! Definitely not too shabby for someone embroiled in a legal battle, right?

That being said, the question remains: how does Marvel Studios intend to handle Majors’ portrayal of different Kang variants? After all, he made quite the impression as He Who Remains in the first season of the Disney+ show and in his time as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. But with his recent legal troubles, Marvel is in a bit of a pickle.

It has bet big on Majors as its next major villain, but the ongoing legal saga is already casting a shadow over the next season. All promotional content so far showcases Majors as the Victor Timely variant of Kang. For the uninitiated, think steampunk with longer hair and a penchant for clocks.

As it stands, it’s still up in the air whether Marvel will recast the character for future projects. With the multiverse saga in full swing, Kang’s role is pivotal. It seems the only thing Marvel can do now is sit tight and see how the trial pans out. Majors is set to return for a court hearing on September 15.

Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston, our beloved God of Mischief, will be back in action, leading a star-studded cast featuring a handful of familiar faces such as Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Sophia Di Martino, as well as the new addition, Ke Huy Quan, who Kevin Feige himself personally invited to join the cast. Unlike the first season, we can expect Loki to get some serious juice up of his magical powers now that the stakes are much higher.
