From Naruto to Dragon Ball and Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, Epic Games’ crossovers with Japanese animation knows no bounds.
After setting a precedent in recent years, fans are naturally wondering which anime characters are headed to Fortnite next. Although the “obvious” answer would be the returning “Big Three” member, Bleach, especially with the latest episodes of The Thousand Year Blood War arc airing again, it appears that a more contemporary and arguably more popular anime is on the docket.
The viral sensation from the world of anime, Jujutsu Kaisen, is reportedly the next crossover to grace Fortnite’s expansive lineup.

This information comes via recent leaks from renowned Fortnite data miners BarbieharpFN, HYPEX, and Shiina. The leaks suggest the characters Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, and the fan-favorite Satoru Gojo will appear as purchasable skins in the game, but the conspicuous absence of the show’s main character, Yuji Itadori, has left fans in suspense.
Jujutsu Kaisen has been carving its own path in the fiercely competitive arena of Shounen anime, treading on the heels of the “Big 3” shows – Bleach, One Piece, and Naruto. Its unique blend of a diverse cast of characters, intricate action scenes, and a darker thematic undertone have contributed to its burgeoning popularity. As the second season kicks into gear, the series’ momentum shows no signs of waning, and now, Fortnite is set to tap into this juggernaut.
While the leaked information confirms the arrival of the Jujutsu Kaisen-themed skins in Fortnite, it remains unclear whether the crossover will feature a full-on event like the one seen with Dragon Ball Z.

Fortnite has historically offered exclusive gameplay perks with its crossovers, such as Deku’s iconic “Smash” attack from My Hero Academia and the Kamehameha as a Mythic weapon from Dragon Ball Z. However, no unique abilities or weapons from Jujutsu Kaisen were confirmed in the leak.
Fans are hoping that Epic Games’ latest collaboration sees at least one of the said characters showcasing their abilities in the game. Gojo Satoru releasing Purple, in particular, would be a sight to behold.
That being said, Fortnite’s collaborations have long been one of its distinguishing features, constantly pushing the envelope by partnering with popular brands and celebrities, as well as an array of gaming franchises like The Elder Scrolls and World of Warcraft. This approach has seen characters as varied as Goku, Naruto, Iron Man, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator don skins and take up arms in the Fortnite universe.

The leaked skins are expected to be priced at around 1800-1900 V-Bucks each, and the outfits should also be purchasable separately for approximately 1300-1500 V-Bucks. Following Fortnite’s conventional pricing structure, a bundle containing all the Jujutsu Kaisen items could also be introduced, possibly priced around 2800 V-Bucks.
It’s crucial to remember that these collaborations serve as a double-edged sword. While they bring favorite characters from popular franchises to one of the biggest games in the world, they sometimes offer little more than a set of skins. Thus, the extent of integration of the Jujutsu Kaisen crossover remains to be seen. Regardless, Fortnite’s decision to blend its world with that of Jujutsu Kaisen is a testament to the battle royale’s unparalleled reach, and fans across the globe are eagerly waiting to see how this mashup unfolds.
