Brace yourself, WWE fans! The world’s foremost wrestling promotion has confirmed that it has secured a multi-year partnership with the gaming and live-streaming juggernaut, Twitch. This alliance is expected to bring usher in a new era of wrestling entertainment, much like The Rock’s decision to link up with the Nation of Domination all the way back in 1997.
According to the WWE, this explosive collaboration will mark the return of the official WWE Twitch channel, complete with individual channels for the top WWE Superstars. Each channel will contain exclusive content that promises to captivate fans and give them a deeper look into the ins and outs of the wrestling industry.
A grand kickoff with a companion sidecast will debut on the June 5 episode of Monday Night RAW, promising to “bring the WWE Universe behind the scenes and closer to the in-ring action.
The weekly viewing extravaganza will feature a rotating cast of hosts as well as unique, never-before-seen content from the backstage and WWE superstars.
Those who are curious can check out the first broadcast of the sidecast on the WWE Twitch channel or the Twitch app.

This monumental partnership represents a significant shift in the WWE’s approach to third-party platforms. After restricting talent’s use of similar streaming platforms, the WWE has since changed its mind. Its reversal last year eventually led to this groundbreaking deal, which allows some of the WWE’s most popular faces to grow and promote their brand outside of the traditional wrestling programs. In addition to this, fans can look forward to watching upcoming press conferences for WWE’s Premium Live Events via the official Twitch channel.
The first PLE to benefit from this feature is the upcoming Money in the Bank at the O2 Arena in London on July 1.
This announcement is a triumphant people’s elbow to the previous controversies that overshadowed WWE’s relationship with Twitch. Now that all WWE Superstars are welcome to the platform, there’s an opportunity to establish a deeper and more personal connection with the fanbase. This evolution is a reflection of the WWE’s constant pursuit of innovation and to remain the champion of the sports-entertainment industry.

The June 5 Monday Night RAW episode is also the first time that a championship will be defended in RAW in nearly two years as Seth Rollins faces off against Damian Priest.
