Logan Paul, a popular YouTuber and internet personality who’s made waves in the WWE in the past year, has expressed his interest in the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Paul went on Twitter after the initial reveal of the returning belt to clarify that he wants to compete for the prestigious title and solidify his claim as one of the WWE’s top stars.
Logan Paul has quickly risen through the ranks of the WWE. Paul has already feuded with some of the promotion’s top stars from Rey Mysterio (and his son, the now-heel Dominik Mysterio), The Miz, and even The Bloodline, putting up a great show against Roman Reigns at last year’s Crown Jewel. Paul most recently took part in WrestleMania 39 where he lost to Seth Rollins in what was considered one of the best matches of the PPV event.

It remains unclear when Paul will come back and wrestle for the WWE again. It doesn’t seem like Triple H has him booked at WWE Backlash on May 6, so Night of Champions on May 27 is definitely a possibility.
Of course, we’ll know more if Paul is a threat to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship depending on where he’s drafted.
The WWE Draft will start on Friday, April 28, and end on Monday, May 1.

Speaking of the WWE, Triple H’s role as the Creative Head has been put in doubt. After the negative reception to RAW After WrestleMania 39, we’ve received reports that Vince McMahon is now firmly back in charge. Most recently, WWE insiders are claiming that there’s growing unrest within the company after the last-minute and remote changes made by the elder McMahon.
