The WWE needs to sign Logan Paul to a new contract ASAP

Logan Paul has been a show-stealer over the past year and is very well on track to deserving WrestleMania main event status in a few years.

Logan Paul's new contract has to be a priority for the WWE, especially with Backlash just a few weeks away.

Logan Paul officially no longer has a job.

After celebrating his 28th birthday at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles against Seth Rollins on Day 1 of WrestleMania 39, the Maverick reaffirmed in a post-match interview with Cathy Kelley that he is no longer contracted to the WWE.

Before this, Paul revealed that his contract will expire after WrestleMania 39, after which he indicated to Ariel Helwani that the WWE might resign him.

According to Paul, it’s “unlikely” that his rookie contract with the WWE is the last he’ll ever sign, describing himself as a “good employee.”

In the same interview, Paul hinted he won’t sign anything longer than a one-year contract with the WWE, saying “It seems a little irresponsible to sign anything longer than year-long contracts, right?” before adding that “it’d be silly” for the WWE not to resign him.

And, Paul is right – Triple H will be making a huge mistake if he didn’t resign Paul, especially after mentoring him and giving him praise for a “f*cking awesome” performance at WrestleMania 39.

If Paul keeps up his performance, he could be a main-event status WWE superstar in a year or two.

Paul has done an excellent job every time he’s taken the mic or performed in the ring. Even when Paul doesn’t walk out as the winner, he’s arguably the star of the match. After putting on a show against Roman Reigns last year at Crown Jewel, The Ultimate Influencer went viral again after going up against Seth Rollins. He even managed to rope in his good friend and fellow YouTuber, KSI, to stand ringside wearing a giant Prime energy drink costume.

Suffice it to say, Paul did all he could to secure his second-straight WrestleMania win, but, it just wasn’t meant to happen as Rollins literally stomped his way into victory.

There’s no word yet on the specifics of Paul’s new WWE contract and we likely won’t ever know how much he’ll get paid through the next WrestleMania. However, with a reported net worth of $45 million, Triple H will have to bring out the Binks truck if he wants Paul to resign.

The elder Paul might look like a natural inside the squared circle but he’s got the clout and influence to be a huge success in whatever field he chooses. So, if Paul feels like he’s receiving anything less than the top dollar to come back to do a couple more PPV events for the WWE, don’t be surprised if WrestleMania 39 will be the last we’ll see of him.

We certainly hope this isn’t the case. We still want to see what will come of his potential matchup against John Cena, which was reportedly planned for WrestleMania 39.

Logan Paul is a natural wrestler with athletic talents that very few in this world have.

Speaking of KSI, Paul and his old rival founded Prime Hydration last year. In the fifteen months it has been on the market, the drink’s valuation has ballooned to $200 million. It’s now the official drink of several sporting clubs and organizations, including the UFC, which, by the way, is now under the same umbrella as the WWE following the recent merger.
