Visual Concepts and 2K Games continue to expand the roster of WWE 2K23 after its launch. After welcoming Mia Yim last week, WWE 2K23 will add another female wrestler to the mix – for free.
Candice LeRae, a popular high-flying wrestler with a charismatic personality, has been confirmed as the latest addition to the WWE 2K23 roster.
As per the latest announcement, LeRae will be a free download for WWE 2K23, adding even more value to the game.
Known for her daring performances and technical skill in the ring, LeRae is a fan favorite. She was most recently a part of the heel faction, The Way, alongside Johnny Gargano, Indi Hartwell, and Austin Theory.
LeRae has been married to Gargano in real life since 2016.
It’s believed that LeRae is a late addition to WWE 2K23 because she hadn’t signed a new contract with the WWE yet at the time as she was on maternity leave. LeRae came back to WWE, this time as a face, in September.
WWE 2K22 had an expansive roster and it looks like WWE 2K23 will do the same. Aside from LeRae, WWE 2K23 will also add a handful of new wrestlers as part of the “Pretty Sweet” DLC pack.
The new faces joining WWE 2K23 are as follows:
- Karl Anderson
- Luke Gallows
- Tiffany Stratton
- Elton Prince
- Kit Wilson
WWE and 2K are doing something new with WWE 2K23 by keeping the roster up-to-date. Unlike in previous years, when WWE 2K refused to add new signees post-launch, WWE 2K23 is a lot more open-minded.
Perhaps its difficulties with WWE 2K20, which forced 2K to skip one entry in 2021, forced the company to pivot and change plans to better cater to audiences.
Fingers crossed, we’ll find out more about WWE 2K23’s other free additions sooner rather than later.
