Since the expansion’s initial announcement in late 2022, FromSoftware has kept details shrouded in mystery with only an artwork featuring Miquella of the Haligtree to show for it. Nevertheless, speculation about the DLC’s content and release date has continued to run rampant. The recent developments suggest the project is nearing completion, potentially paving the way for a release sooner rather than later.
Self-proclaimed “private investigator”, @billbil_kun, chimed in on the announcement as well, saying that it’s coming with “other surprises” with “pricing of the other surprises.”
Whatever those surprises are, they didn’t say. The good news is we won’t have to wait long to find out.
The upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree trailer reveal starts following the end of this year’s first Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Finally, the second demo for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will also be released around the same time.
As the kids say these days, gamers will be eating good tomorrow.
