In the army’s Ballad Of The Frogman, there’s a saying: “Anything in life worth doing is worth overdoing. Moderation is for cowards.” This particular philosophy appears to resonate with American billionaire Mark Zuckerberg.
While his prominence in the tech industry is a well-known fact, his dedication to body fitness might be something of a surprise to most people.
On the newly launched social platform, Threads, fast-food giant McDonald’s shared an image with its followers, asking “y’all want anything from mcdonald’s,” to which Zuckerberg surprisingly replied, “20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, Oreo McFlurry, apple pie, and maybe some side cheeseburgers for later?”
That’s quite a feast for anyone, but for Zuckerberg, who’s actively involved in mixed martial arts training, it seems like the perfect way to indulge in a cheat day. The Meta Platforms CEO, who began his MMA training in 2020, has already picked up medals this year when he competed at a Brazilian jiu jitsu competition.
Regardless, fast foods have a negative reputation for being detrimental to any body fitness training, something that a UFC fighter like Mark Davis couldn’t help but point out, saying: “You’re in camp! No Mcdonalds 😂”
Nonetheless, Zuckerberg clarified that his fitness objective was focused on muscle gain, as he explained:
Not cutting weight so I need ~4000 calories a day to offset all the activity. And it’s so delicious…
Eating a whopping 4,000 calories in a single McDonald’s order is certainly one way of bulking up, but there might be more to Zuckerberg’s ridiculous meal plan. If you’ve been following his comical rivalry with Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, you already know about the beef that started a few months ago.
Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight, then later called him a “cuck” and even proposed a “literal d*ck measuring contest.” However, Zuckerberg hasn’t shied away from the challenge, responding to Musk’s offer on an Instagram story with the caption, “Send me location.”

If we consider the tale of the tape between Zuckerberg and Musk, the odds seem to favor Zuckerberg, but that does not mean that Musk is taking this feud lightly.
Earlier today, he revealed that he has been diligently training for the fight, sharing, “Am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight. Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work.” Musk further fueled excitement for the anticipated clash, tweeting: “Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on 𝕏. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans.”

No one knows if this whole online squabble is just an elaborate prank that Musk and Zuckerberg are using as fodder for social debate, but on the off chance that the duo indeed intend to fight each other, then veterans will at least benefit from it, and that’s something we can all appreciate.
