Arnold Schwarzenegger invites MrBeast to lift weights with him

MrBeast and Arnold Schwarzenegger are two of the world's most popular celebrities.

Schwarzenegger, a former bodybuilder, invited MrBeast to lift with him in Los Angeles.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jimmy Donaldson are both massive celebrities in their own right, although in different ways. A former governor of California, Schwarzenegger, is also an accomplished Hollywood actor most popular for his role in the sci-fi action film, Terminator. Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, is the most popular YouTuber on the planet with the most subscribers on the planet. But, what happens if these two folks, from completely different worlds, decide to come together, all in the name of fitness?

On June 29, MrBeast shared his weight loss journey via his Twitter account. He recounted how, one day, he resolved to shed weight after he realized he was obese. He wrote, “Woke up and realized I was obese so I started lifting and walking 12,500 steps a day. Still got a long way to being yoked but I’m happy with my progress so far.”

Like all things MrBeast does, the tweet went viral and generated a lot of buzz on the social media platform. More than that, it got the attention of Schwarzenegger, a former bodybuilder and the winner of a combined 12 Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia contests.

MrBeast’s dedication and work rate impressed Schwarzenegger as he congratulated the 25-year-old. But, he didn’t stop there. Schwarzenegger invited MrBeast to pump iron with him whenever he visits Los Angeles.

In his words, “Wow – fantastic work. Keep pumping and inspiring people! Let me know if you’re in LA and want to get a lift in.”

We can’t but assume that the invitation excited MrBeast, who responded almost immediately and confirmed that he’s down for the collaboration.

The interaction generated a frenzy, with fans of both celebrities urging them to make it happen. After all, it is not every day that Schwarzenegger offers to collaborate with others.

While this is no Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg cage fight, it certainly ranks as one of the most exciting events of the year. Besides, MrBeast’s involvement makes it even more exciting, given that he more or less wrote the playbook on virality.

We guess the reaction their interaction generated on the internet encouraged Schwarzenegger as, less than two hours after MrBeast’s reply, he tweeted his enthusiasm for the meetup to happen.

By the way, MrBeast recently made the news after he claimed he was invited on that doomed diving expedition to the ruins of the Titanic. Fortunately for him, he declined the invitation.

Schwarzenegger, on the other hand, led Netflix’s action-comedy television series FUBAR and also starred in an eponymous documentary about his life and career on the same platform.
