As the thrilling anticipation for Money in the Bank builds, the squared circle is set to witness a collision of generations in the main event as the WWE’s biggest heel at the moment, Dominik Mysterio, faces off against The American Nightmare, at London’s O2 Arena. However, amidst the crescendo of clashes, the looming shadow of “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar threatens to tip the scales.
For weeks now, Mysterio has been craftily dodging the onslaught of Rhodes, evading the verbal tirades and landing cheap shots whenever he can. With no place left to run, the young luchador will finally face his adversary, but not without his allies backing him in this high-stakes encounter.
The intriguing aspect of this face-off lies in the contrasting career trajectories of both superstars. Dominik, the son of the Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio, boasts an impressive undefeated record in televised one-on-one contests since WrestleMania 39, where he was humbled by his own father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

On the other hand, Rhodes, since his return at WrestleMania 38, has tasted defeat only twice in singles matches. The first instance was a bitter loss to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39, while the second defeat came at the hands of Lesnar at Night of Champions in May.
These losses, however, add a layer of complexity to the upcoming match, paving the way for a potential return of Lesnar. The behemoth, who has been missing in action since his victory over Rhodes at Night of Champions, isn’t even listed for an appearance. Nevertheless, the rumor mill suggests a surprise return of “The Beast Incarnate,” as he guns for Rhodes and a third showdown at SummerSlam on August 5.
Rhodes, though, must not overlook the threat posed by Mysterio, who’s been consistently one-upping him in recent weeks.
With the specter of Lesnar’s return and the gritty determination of Mysterio as well as Rhea Ripley presumably at ringside, Rhodes might need eyes on all sides in this colossal clash.

As the event draws closer, the possible running order of the matches is creating quite a stir. While some speculate that the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match might open the show, others believe that the Bloodline Civil War could close the event, especially after the reaction it got following last night’s confrontation where The Usos declared Solo Sikoa the next Tribal Chief. However, Michael Cole called the match the main event of Money in the Bank on June 30 of Friday Night SmackDown. So, which is which?
In any case, whatever the order, one thing is for certain – Saturday’s Money in the Bank is primed to be a night of spectacle, drama, and unadulterated sports entertainment.
