Mike Tyson wants a piece of Logan Paul so much that he’s willing to wrestle against him for free.
Iron Mike recently joined Forbes for a one-on-one interview where, among other things, he talked about wrestling and if a comeback to the WWE is possible.
Tyson, of course, is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 2012 by the D-Generation X, who he had betrayed in 1998 after siding with Steve Austin.

According to Tyson, he’s a huge fan of wrestling, especially the bad guys, saying:
I loved wrestling all my life. The Valiant Brothers, Bruno Sammartino, that’s just who I was: the arrogant talker and the bad guy who people booed. That’s when I realized you can’t remember the good guy without the bad guy. That’s what makes the good guy famous, is the bad guy. The good guy is nothing without the bad guy, the bad guy is the biggest draw. That’s why Floyd Mayweather and myself were the biggest draws because we were the bad guys.
Tyson also took this opportunity to praise Paul, effectively saying that he’s the reason why Paul got as big as he is now. The Baddest Man on the Planet then added that he didn’t really think that Paul was serious about his proposed boxing match with him but he wouldn’t mind getting into a tussle with The Maverick in the WWE.
In his words, “I would do it! I would kick his [expletive] ass, yes I would do it. Even though I love him.”
Tyson then joked that while most people think the WWE is fake, the “check is real” and he’d do it for free.

Contrary to the popular belief, Mike Tyson never actually wrestled for the WWE. Although he appeared in the WWE (or the WWF) a couple of times, it was mostly as an attraction. Specifically, the legendary heavyweight boxer was the special guest enforcer at WrestleMania XIV when Austin faced off against Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship, which was also the last appearance of the Winged Eagle title belt.
Most recently, Tyson has been involved with the AEW, specifically in a feud against Chris Jericho. Ironically, Tyson knocked out Jericho on the January 10, 2010 episode of Monday Night RAW.
According to Jim Ross, there was never really a plan to have Tyson wrestle in the WWE but not for the lack of trying.
Of course, this could all change really soon. Triple H, who was previously in line to have a “boxing match” against Tyson at WrestleMania 17 in 2001, is the new head of creative, and they’ve worked closely together over the years. Not to mention, a Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson match, perhaps at WrestleMania 40, could be an excellent opener on either Day 1 or Day 2 of the event.
If ever this dream match happens, there would be no shortage of fans who’d line up to see it happen.

Speaking of Logan Paul, The Ultimate Influencer has officially signed a new contract with the WWE and is now expressing his interest to contend for the WWE Heavyweight Championship Belt. The WWE will crown the first WWE Heavyweight Champion at the Night of Champions on May 27.
