The spin-off to the popular Fox sitcom, That ’70s Show, has gotten an official trailer ahead of its premiere next year following the release of its teaser trailer last month.
The upcoming show, That ’90s Show, is set during the summer of 1995 and will see the cast members from its predecessor return to the show as recurring and special guest stars. The show, which will air on Netflix, centers on Leia Forman, the teenage daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti, who forms bonds with other teenagers as she spends the summer of 1995 with her grandparents, Red and Kitty, in Point Place, Wisconsin, 15 years after the events of That ’70s Show.
The cast of the new generation of teenagers living in Red’s basement includes relatively unknown actors, namely:
- Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, the teenage daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti
- Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen Runck, a rebellious Riot grrrl
- Mace Coronel as Jay Kelso, the teenage son of Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart
- Maxwell Acee Donovan as Nate Runck, Gwen’s fun-loving brother
- Reyn Doi as Ozzie, an openly gay teenager
- Sam Morelos as Nikki, Nate’s ambitious and intelligent girlfriend
Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will reprise their roles as everybody’s favorite parents, Red and Kitty Forman. Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, Tommy Chong, and Don Stark will appear in the show as special guests, reprising their roles as Eric Forman, Donna Pinciotti, Jackie Burkhart, Michael Kelso, Fez, Leo Chingkwake, and Bob Pinciotti, respectively.

However, Danny Masterson, who played the role of Steven Hyde in the original show, will not return as a guest star after he was arrested and charged with three counts of forcible rape, which he categorically denied. Following a mistrial last month after the jury remained deadlocked for three days, a new trial was set for March.
The series will premiere on Netflix on January 19, 2023.
