Johnny Depp’s charms have made him the object of affection of millions around the world and some have been quite lucky to be the apple of his eye as well.

Now, it appears that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor is ready to date again.

According to the ever-churning rumor mill, Depp might have found an unlikely paramour in the woman defending him in his defamation trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Camille Vasquez, the aforementioned lawyer, isn’t helping the rumors either. One encounter with the paparazzi, in particular, is fueling speculations.

When asked if there was something going on between her and Johnny, the lawyer didn’t reply at all. Instead, Vasquez just giggled as she left the Virginia courthouse following that day’s proceedings.

With nearly 20 million views, it’s safe to say that fans are shipping the two. However, as per TMZ, a source told the popular paparazzi website that Camille is not dating Depp as she’s currently seeing a British real estate agent. The source claims that the two are in a serious relationship and that Camille doesn’t think that Johnny is giving her special treatment. Of course, this probably isn’t going to stop fans from speculating. After all, there’s enough footage going around online of the two being close with each other, but we guess that’s just the effect that Depp has on other people.

Personal relationships aside, Camille has done an excellent job in representing Depp in his trial against his ex-wife. Most recently, Heard revealed that Warner Bros. had reduced her role in Aquaman 2 before clarifying that she got her role in the DCEU film by auditioning.

Nasty doesn’t even begin to describe the fallout from the divorce between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. Five years after the couple went their separate ways, Depp is now trying to clear his name after Heard published an op-ed in 2018 that implied Depp had subjected her to domestic abuse. The trial kicked off on April 11 and is expected to end by late May.

Unfortunately, Depp revealed during the trail that he's never reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

In other news, Disney is already planning for a Depp-less future for Pirates of the Caribbean. According to Jerry Bruckheimer, a Margot Robbie-led sequel is in development.
