Wednesday returns for a second season on Netflix.

Wednesday had a recording-breaking first season on Netflix. The Addams Family spin-off became the second most popular English-language series of all time on the streamer. It was all but guaranteed to get a second season. Now, Netflix has made the audience's return to Nevermore Academy official.

The series' showrunners are excited to return for a second season on Netflix. "We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky, spooky world of Nevermore," Wednesday Season 1 co-showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Gough said of the renewal. "We just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first."

Wednesday season 2 promises audiences that "more torture is coming." Hopefully, we'll get more Addams Family members to appear during season 2.

We've been expecting a renewal for Wednesday for some time now. But, at the very least, this should put all the speculation that Wednesday could move to Amazon Prime to rest.
