Because of the lackluster performance and critical disaster that was WWE 2K20, Take-Two Interactive had no choice but to go back to the drawing board.
Now, after taking a year-long break, 2K has good news for wrestling fans out there.
People familiar with the development of WWE 2K22 claim that the gameplay is "fantastic".
The gameplay has also reportedly been rebuilt using a new engine.
In addition to this, WWE 2K22 will apparently have improved fighting controls compared to its predecessor.
WWE 2K22 is expected to release sometime in fall 2021.
