Valve Looking for Alternative TI10 Venues Following Swedish Esports Ruling

The International 10 was originally scheduled to run from August 5 to 15 later this year.

With only six weeks to go, Valve revealed that the status of TI10 at the Avicii Arena is no longer certain.

Valve claims that the Swedish government's refusal to include esports into the sports federation is to blame for this.

Understandably, fans are furious at Valve for not making sure that this doesn't happen for what's supposed to be the biggest esports event in history.

The International 10's prize pool is currently set at $40 million, the largest in esports history.
