Director gives much-needed update on Better Call Saul Season 6
By Ray Ampoloquio September 2, 2021
The sixth and final season of Better Call Saul is expected to premiere sometime in early 2022.
Season 6 has been in production for the better part of 2021.
However, fans were worried that its premiere would be delayed further into 2022.
Such concerns came after the show's lead star, Bob Odenkirk, suffered a minor heart attack on set in July.
Thankfully, it appears that the health scare wasn't enough to derail the entire operation.
According to the show's executive producer, the rest of the cast and crew are still working on the final season of Better Call Saul.
Schnauz confirmed that the production is focusing on scenes that don't involve Bob at the moment
Schnauz also explained that since the show is coming to an end, "whatever happens will probably hit harder."
With that said, we shouldn't expect Better Call Saul to return with its sixth season anytime soon.
Don't be surprised if it's pushed back to later in 2022 so that Bob has more time to heal.
If it's any consolation, a brand new animated series inspired by the Breaking Bad prequel is in development.
In addition to this, fans can watch Giancarlo Esposito play the role of an antagonist once again in Far Cry 6.
Far Cry 6 is expected to release on October 7, 2021.
