It looks like CD Projekt RED isn't finished with The Witcher 3 video game yet.
More than 5 years after the critically-acclaimed RPG was released, The Witcher 3 will get free DLC based on The Witcher TV series.
To say that The Witcher 3 is one of the best games of its generation is fitting.
Perhaps this is the reason why CD Projekt RED continues to support The Witcher 3 to this day.
Later this year, The Witcher 3 will get an official next-gen port that will include faster loading times and ray tracing, as well as all the extra content that's been released since.
CDPR also confirmed that it's going to work closely with the modding community to bring some fan-favorite mods to The Witcher 3 once it arrives for the Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.
On top of making The Witcher 3 play better and look prettier for next-gen consoles, CD Projekt RED will release new DLC for The Witcher 3 that will be based on the Netflix TV series.
Beyond that, CD Projekt RED refused to reveal more information about the upcoming DLC.
The only thing that we know is that it will include content and items based on the popular Netflix TV show starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
