After much anticipation, BLUE BOX drops "empty" Abandoned app

BLUE BOX Game Studios is a huge unknown in the video game industry.

Yet, the studio has the audacity to pull off a troll job, the likes of which has not been seen since Hideo Kojima was still with Konami.

After being delayed multiple times, BLUE BOX finally dropped the highly anticipated Abandoned reveal app.

Save for a video teaser that BLUE BOX itself had uploaded hours before the original Abandoned app reveal date, the app didn't contain anything.

Although this left many fans disappointed, David Jaffe, the creator of God of War, has another take on it.

This wouldn't be the first time that Abandoned has been linked with Kojima.

A Russian leaker even claims to know for sure that Abandoned is a Metal Gear game.

The Abandoned app reveal was supposed to shed some light on this issue.

Instead, all audiences got was a series of blank boxes.

It was deflating to wait for a reveal that made much ado about nothing.

You can't help but wonder what kind of clout BLUE BOX has in the gaming industry to pull off something like this.

If it's not Kojima, then we're hoping it's Konami or someone with the full backing of Sony.
