Bethesda is planning to release The Elder Scrolls 6 as an Xbox-exclusive

The Elder Scrolls franchise is one of the biggest in gaming history.

Since the first Elder Scrolls was released in the early 90s, the entire series has sold 58.5 million units as of recent counting.

Because of its popularity, fans are already looking forward to the next The Elder Scrolls game, even though it's still a few years away.

With that said, the expecting fandom might want to prepare to shell out money for a gaming PC and/or an Xbox Series S/X.

According to recent reports, the plan is to release TES 6 as an Xbox exclusive.

It's no secret that Sony has more exclusives compared to Microsoft.

The good news is that Microsoft is doing something about it.

Microsoft announced a lineup of games coming to the Xbox Series S/X at E3 2021.

Now, it appears that Microsoft has another trick up its  sleeve.

Jeff Grub claims that Microsoft is planning to release The Elder Scrolls 6 as an Xbox exclusive.

If this is true, then the next TES game will join Starfield as two of Bethesda's biggest games ever to be exclusive to the Xbox platform.

Of course, there is no official announcement from either Bethesda or Microsoft yet.

The closest thing we have to official TES information is that it's still in design phase.

However, PS5 owners might still want to prepare for the inevitable anyway.

If it's any consolation, there's still Skyrim.

A 10th anniversary edition of Skyrim with next-gen enhancements is set to release later this year.
