Tencent makes massive $300M investment on Ubisoft

It looks like Tencent is not done with its acquisition of video game companies.

Tencent had just purchased a stake in FromSoftware.

Now, the company has set its sights on Ubisoft. FULL ARTICLE

The new deal sees Tencent acquiring a minority share in Guillemot Brothers Ltd, which will indirectly increase its ownership of Ubisoft.

Before the purchase, Tencent had already owned a 4.5% stake in Ubisoft.

Ubisoft might announce the partnership at Ubisoft Forward on the 10th.
