Aspyr Media is remaking Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PS5

Sony's September PlayStation showcase was Christmas come early for a lot of fans.
Among the highlights of the said event was news that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is coming back.
Aspyr Media is working on a remake of KOTOR for the PlayStation 5.
Aspyr Media is going to remake Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic from the ground up.
The studio adds that the remake's development team boasts the talents of "industry veterans" that are "working in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games".
Aspyr Media's name has been linked with the modern remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for a while.
KOTOR is going to be a timed exclusive for the PS5 and will be available on other platforms later on.
The upcoming remake of the classic Star Wars RPG title does not have a release date at the moment.
Aspyr Media explained that the game is still "early in development".
In the meantime, fans can keep themselves busy playing a brand-new expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
