It's been 6 years since Final Fantasy XV hit store shelves in 2016, making it the longest time that Square Enix hasn't come out with a new mainline installment in its best-selling JRPG franchise.
Now, it appears that Final Fantasy XVI might be coming out sooner than expected.
According to sources, FF16 might come out later this year as Square Enix delays Forspoken.
This would make sense since FF16 in the final stages of its development as revealed in April by the game's producer, Naoki Yoshida.
Unfortunately, it's a shame that it would come at the expense of Forspoken.
We should start hearing more about Final Fantasy XVI in the next few weeks.
