We don't know for sure yet who's going to be in it, but the Ghostbusters are returning for another holiday release next year.
Sony announced that the still-untitled sequel will be out in theaters on December 20, 2023, just in time to take advantage of the festivities.
Sony did not include other details in its announcement, but we do know that at least part of the film will take place in New York City and feature the original Ghostbusters firehouse.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife was not a massive box office hit, but it seems to have been enough to reinvigorate interest in the franchise.
In addition to a sequel, we're also getting a new game based on the classic series, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed.
