Sony delays Venom sequel premiere by another month due to COVID-19 surge

Sony is among those that had to rethink its plans due to the recent COVID-19 surge.
Sony has opted to push back the release date of Venom: Let There Be Carnage to October 15.
The sequel's story revolves around Brock's attempt to try and kickstart his dying career as a journalist.
Unfortunately, this all leads to Kasady becoming infected by the Alien symbiote to become Carnage.
So far, the trailers we've seen for Let There Be Carnage appear to show that Sony has stayed true to Carnage's character from the comics.
In one particular sequence, Venom can be seen reverting and hiding after coming face to face with Carnage.
What is interesting here is how Venom will handle Carnage in the sequel with no Spider-Man to help him.
