Even in a pandemic-stricken world, it's never a good sign for a developer to delay its game.
However, there are ways to go about it. For example, you can delay the game and get audiences hyped at the same time.
A good example of this is what Boss Team and Saber Interactive just did with its upcoming title, Evil Dead: The Game.
Saber claims that it needs more time to "polish" Evil Dead: The Game so that fans can get the "ultimate Evil Dead experience".
In addition to buying themselves more time to work on the game, the studio also intends to add a single-player campaign to the multiplayer co-op supernatural title.
For those who haven't had a chance to watch Evil Dead: The Game's trailer, we recommend checking it out
We can only hope that the single-player campaign isn't some haphazardly tacked-on aspect and that it's a genuinely enjoyable experience that's true to the movie series.
