Every live-action Spider-Man film ranked from worst to best

Spider-Man's time at the box office has seen him star in nine live-action adaptations and appear in a handful of other movies.

While each Spider-Man movie made big bucks at the global box office, even the friendly neighborhood superhero has seen its fair share of hits and misses.

2007's Spider-Man 3 has got to be one of the biggest tragedies in modern cinema, earning the film the dubious distinction of being the worst Spider-Man film of all time.

But, if we're being honest, you could probably switch 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and 2007's Venom 3 and most wouldn't care.

2012's The Amazing Spider-Man was only margically better because the chemistry between Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone is just so magical.

Meanwhile, 2019's Far From Home was an unnecessary but very welcome respite for Tom Holland's Peter Parker after everything that his character had just gone through.

Finally, while 2021's No Way Home is the biggest Spider-Man film ever, it suffers from being hard to appreciate if you're not a fan of all things Spider-Man.

As for 2017's Homecoming, it's very much felt like that annoying kid brother that you have that you know needs some growing up to be but can't help but love anyway.

Down to the final two spots, we'd have to give the penultimate Spider-Man movie award to 2002's Spider-Man, which started it all.

Normally, kickstarting arguably the entire comic book genre would've been enough to vault Spider-Man to the top if not for 2004's Spider-Man 2 raising the bar for superhero films.

What Spider-Man 2 did to and for the genre hasn't been matched since, which is a damn shame.
