PSP games will remain on the PS3 and PS Vita stores following closure

The PlayStation Portable store was set to close this month, July 2021.

While the closure will still push through, it seems like Sony will be making digital PSP games available for purchase on the PS3 and PS Vita storefronts.

Earlier this year, Sony announced its decision to close down the PSP, PS3, and PS Vita storefronts.

A few weeks later, Sony would change its mind. The company announced that it would only close down the PSP digital storefront.

While the store will still close, we at least now know that owners can still buy PSP games digitally.

Surprisingly enough, the move did not come with a huge announcement.

The PlayStation Portable sold over 80 millions during its 10-year lifetime.
